Year-round drawing, painting, printmaking and sculpture classes in Woodstock since 1906
Founded in 1906 under the aegis of New York's Art Students League, the Woodstock School of Art is a not-for-profit school in Woodstock's famous artists' colony, set among the Catskill woodlands. It offers year-round classes and workshops in drawing, painting, printmaking and sculpture in historic bluestone and timber studios, plus online classes. There are no entrance requirements and students from age 12 to adult are welcome. The painting studios are kept non-toxic, and an on-site gallery hosts several exhibitions a year.
