Chicago's oldest traditional bathhouse, in Wicker Park since 1906
Operating since 1906, Chicago Bath House is the oldest and only remaining traditional bathhouse in Chicago, an Eastern European–style banya fully renovated in 2011. Guests sweat in the saunas, book traditional treatments like the platza with birch, oak or eucalyptus branches and the signature body scrub, and linger over classic dishes like borscht and blintzes at the on-site restaurant and bar. It has men's, women's and co-ed zones.
