Contemplative retreat center on 600 acres in the Colorado foothills
Drala Mountain Center is an educational nonprofit and retreat center on about 600 acres between Fort Collins and Red Feather Lakes, Colorado. Its mission is grounded in the Buddha Dharma while not being tied to any one tradition, and it offers year-round retreats in meditation, yoga, mindfulness and contemplative arts. Lodging ranges from tents to cabins, and the land is home to the 108-foot Great Stupa of Dharmakaya. The center was founded in 1971 and is affiliated with Shambhala.
