Native Salt Cave & Wellness is a team of healing practitioners in Wilmington's South Front District, home to the first Himalayan salt cave in coastal North Carolina. Forty-five-minute salt therapy sessions are safe for all ages, including expecting mothers: settle into an anti-gravity lounger to the sound of soft ocean waves while pharmaceutical-grade salt is dispersed through the air. A second, smaller cave doubles as a kids' cave and a private treatment room. Healer-led sessions add sound healing, group Holy Fire Reiki and guided meditation to the salt experience, and private treatments — massage, Reiki, shamanic healing, acupuncture, tarot and psychic/mediumship readings — all take place in the treatment cave, so every session includes salt therapy.
